Baby Trend 4 Position High Chair, Nambia

We considered many other high chairs, including those $300+, and we've been pleased with this high chair so far. It has a place on the back on which to hang the tray, as our daughter is too small at this point to use it, which is nice. The height adjusts and it reclines, as well. I'm not sure how well, it cleans up yet, as we just purchased it, but the material seems to be easy to clean. I will update when we find this out. I'm guessin that it's not something you can throw in the washer because of the cardboard insert near the footrest.

So far, we're pleased with it, and it seems sturdy and a great buy for the cost.

I was looking for a unisex chair that had wheels. So I chose this one. It's very nicely padded. Tray comes on and off easily. Also hangs off the back (very convenient when your home is cluttered with so much baby stuff!). The design is pretty. It looks like an expensive chair but we got it at a bargain. It moves around the house very smoothly. The height seems a little low (even at its highest) for a highchair, but it's a good height if you're sitting down and feeding baby. the height adjustment and recline all work very smoothly and easily (not jerky and difficult like some other baby products). Baby is 4 months old so the tray is way too high for her. I removed it since she will be eating from my hand anyway. I think once she's bigger it will be okay (maybe only slightly high). Sometimes I just let her sit in it or recline. She's comfortable enough to fall asleep! I'm very very pleased overall.

This highchair has pros and cons, but the cons are so ridiculous that it only deserves one star. Here they are:

Pros
1. Folds away fairly small
2. Sturdy and easy to use mechanisms for adjustments
3. The adjustable height means we can use it right at the table instead of using the tray, and we can also bring it down to it's lowest setting if we're having a snack around the coffee table.

Cons
1. The tray is immense. The clip-on cover just barely fits in the dishwasher.
2. The bottom tray has seams where food and water get trapped. It's too big to soak in the sink, so this has happened just from typical use and rinsing.
3. The cover has a 'wipe clean only' tag, which of course I have ignored because that would be disgusting. The result of throwing it in the washing machine is that the inner foam padding folds and bunches every time. It's a major pain to massage it back into position.
