Summary: Do not recommend 2008-08-02
Comment: Ours is pretty sturdy, unlike others who posted. However, the size of the chair is very odd. Our 8 month old is swimming in it. He sits very low and far back. We had to "add" padding by putting towels under the cover. Its an odd work around, but we didn't feel like taking it back. Our friends purchased a FisherPrice - Easy Fold and that seems to be more appropriately sized. Also, the cover says not to machine wash... obviously a stupid restriction for a baby high chair cover.

Summary: Good high chair for small house! 2008-04-30
Comment: We got this highchair as a Christmas gift and we love it! It works wonderful. I love how you did not have to assemble anything with it and how small and compactly it folds up. The various reclining and heights is great to have so we can feed our baby anywhere.
The only negative thing is that the straps are hard to adjust.

Comment: We have a slightly older version of this chair, and used it for both our kids. The tray is removable and heavy, and we never, ever took if off while the baby was in the chair. There is no reason to, because the main part of the tray has a pop-off cover that can be removed while leaving the heavy, main tray in place.
I agree with the other comment that it is not safe to leave a baby in a high chair without the tray secured in place. The flimsy straps that come with high chairs are not enough to protect a baby. We found this high chair to be very sturdy and safe as long as the tray was securely snapped into place. One great safety feature here is the wide piece that comes up between the child's legs, which keeps him from sliding forward under the tray.

Summary: 8 month old broke her leg 2008-04-22
Comment: We have a slightly older version of this high chair--the features are comparable. I knew when I was putting it together that this item would require extra supervision given that it is so flimsy. What I didn't realize was that the buckle could be opened by the baby just leaning forward. After removing the tray for one second, with an adult less than three feet away, our 8 month old leaned forward and, apparently with just the pressure from her legs and belly, released the clasp of the restraint and tumbled to the floor. She bruised her forehead and fractured her femur. Needless to say, we were mortified. Please don't buy this product
