This is what I like about the high chair: * It's on wheels and it rolls easily on carpet as well as non-carpeted floors. * The wheels lock and unlock easily. * The padding (one fitted and one extra cushion non-fitted are washable). * The tray can be removed easily with one hand. * It came with lots of extras such as an extra compartmentalized food tray, for when the baby gets bigger, a storage pouch and a wonderful tray top battery operated toy with visuals, sounds and things that move. This is what I did not like about the high chair: * The harness buckle is definitely a two-hand task, but it works great. Summary This high chair is about as perfect as you can get for the money. 12 of 13 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Baby Trend High Chair, Skylar (Baby Product) Updated Feb 18,2011
Every time I use this chair I hate it. I have actually swore a few time when trying to use it. See the bottom for new updates. The worst flaw is the bar that goes between my child legs is actually attached to the tray. The problem with this design is two fold. When you remove the tray, it cannot sit flat on the counter. The tray is either on a 45 to 60 degree angle and the food slides off. It then does not fit in the sink or the drying rack. The other problem with the "crotch" bar being attach to the tray as opposed to the seat, is that when you put a small child in the seat, You have to be very careful when you slide the tray onto the seat so the crotch bar goes between the legs. Also when you remove the tray and your kid is still in the seat, you have just removed an additional safety feature. You better hope the 5 point harness is tight. I hate this chair and will be looking to purchase a different one where the crotch bar is attached to the...Read more 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Baby Trend High Chair, Skylar (Baby Product) I did a lot of research when deciding which highchair to buy for our 6 month old. I couldn't find very many reviews on this item but we have a Baby Trend stroller and car seat and are very pleased with both of those. Some of our favorite features are: the tilt feature, locking wheels which roll very smoothly by the way when unlocked, removable tray insert, removable and washable cover, neutral cover without any pictures or themes, the tray attaches to the back of the chair, easy to get my son in and out of, can operate tray with one hand, basket underneath for toys - bibs - etc, didn't break the bank and came with a bonus toy. Things I don't like about this item: it would be nice if there was a way to attach some toys to the chair but I haven't seen this feature in many if any chairs to date. This is a great high chair and you'll be pleasantly surprised with the excellent quality. |
