After considerable waiting, numerous phone calls and some persuasion, we received our Fresco high chair. It's a decently-constructed, substantial high chair offering features that other chairs do not, such as tilting ability. It has the retro look that my wife loves and the functionaltiy that makes it a welcome addition to our kitchen.
I do not like the straps, which are difficult to use and twist too easily. For the $400 price tag, I expected more than just cutting edge design; I expected details, such as the straps, to be of the highest quality. Also, I am concerned about cleaning the insert for the chair, as it seems like it will stain easily.
Would we buy this again? That's a tough call.

We received this chair as a gift-- a very expensive and lovely looking gift. Not knowing anything about high chairs at the time, i was so touched by the gesture. Not saying we are ungrateful - high chairs are expensive, and I am glad we have one. The initial good cheer was that we could put our daughter in it at only 3 months. At that time, that seemed great. But then, she started eating. Babies are babies, and they ain't tidy. It has about a million nooks and crannies where all the food ends up, and it isn't the easiest material to wipe food away. It is too big, it takes up a lot more space than i would like, and it is quite cumbersome to move... It is lovely looking, but when cleaning up after a 14-month old, it is just so impractical. If i could do it again, i would request the stokke tripp trapp, as it seems to have less "bells and whistles" to get dirty, and all i know is that anything would be easier to move than this beast. If looks is the most important thing to you, by all...Read more

This review is from: Bloom Classic Fresco High Chair - Bermuda Blue (Baby Product)
This product looks sensational, and is comfortable and safe. It does what high chairs are supposed to do. And it's GREAT until the first time your baby pukes on it.
This high chair is IMPOSSIBLE to clean. The visible parts are easy enough, but under the seat pad is a different matter. The velcro tapes...forget about it. You can not get them clean. There are VERY small holes for screws that hold the seat to its frame that can not be cleaned without a power washer. Things will accumulate in these things and they will become disgusting. Same thing about the arm support construction. There are small crevices that you will not be able to clean.
The seat pad itself...yep, impossible to clean. It's handwash only, which is fine, but the material on the seat pad stains incredibly easily. You can forget about getting the stains out in any reasonable manner.
It doesn't help that the chair is very heavy. It's just hard to handle when you need to get into those...Read more
