Summary: Go the jetsons! 2008-04-12
Comment: Couldn't believe it when I first saw this chair - why didn't they have stuff like this when I was a bub?
More functions than 007 and can take up to 80lbs - there are supermodels that weigh less than that...
Our little guy loves it!

Summary: sensational - edgy design and loads of function 2008-04-09
Comment: This chair has everything. We bought fresco when it first came out (year or so ago) because we loved the look for our kitchen, and we are still loving it.
Our little girl was only 3 months old and we used the recline mode at first - this worked even better than the rockers we had been given. We switched her to highchair setup a few months later and we cant keep her out of it - of course the up/down and full rotate doesnt hurt!
At first we used the trays provided which were great, but after speaking to a few friends who had also gone for the fresco, started using the highchair right up at the table without the trays and haven't switched back - she loves eating like mum and dad.
Apparently theres also a counter top version - damn it, I would have gone for that had I known!!!

Summary: I HATE THIS CHAIR 2008-04-06
Comment: I love the look of this chair. It's so much cooler than any other highchair on the market. But that's the nicest thing I can say about this chair. Nothing about this chair is easy to use. The two trays are impossible to get on and off without a lot of cursing or serious injury - today I pinched myself so hard that I bled trying to get the tray back on. The straps are so bulky that a smaller child is really inhibited by them - my daughter is a year old and they are still too large - I can't imagine how much worse it would be with a younger child. And the seat liner is made of very porous foam that stained beyond cleaning the first time we used it (our liner is orange). This was a gift from a well-meaning family member - I asked for the Stokke Tripp Trapp and as soon as I unload this one that's what I'm buying. For the price I expected a lot more...

Summary: Just like its name, a fresh idea 2007-08-27
Comment: After considerable waiting, numerous phone calls and some persuasion, we received our Fresco high chair. It's a decently-constructed, substantial high chair offering features that other chairs do not, such as tilting ability. It has the retro look that my wife loves and the functionaltiy that makes it a welcome addition to our kitchen.
I do not like the straps, which are difficult to use and twist too easily. For the $400 price tag, I expected more than just cutting edge design; I expected details, such as the straps, to be of the highest quality. Also, I am concerned about cleaning the insert for the chair, as it seems like it will stain easily.
Would we buy this again? That's a tough call.
