I ordered this chair simply because it was more versatile than anything I'd seen, not to mention, I couldn't find anything else that would match the décor of our loft. There are functionality advantages and there are some things to look out for, so I've broken it down as follows;

Pros:

o Our daughter loves watching us cook, so having the option of raising the chair to counter-height is a big plus.

o This is a free-standing chair and easy to move from one room to the other.

o It spins.

o It tilts back.

o The foot rests extend/retract as needed.

o There are innumerable parts to add/subtract from the chair.

o The chair comes with a booster insert for smaller kids.

o They offer a number of color combinations with the seat liner/insert to match your décor.

o It looks cool.
