Product Description
Chicco Polly Highchair The Chicco highchair is an exceptional high chair with an exceptional design. Chicco products are easy to use and maneuver about the house. This baby high chair has four casters for easy mobility. It is also extremely easy to clean. The double seat pad is vinyl and thick so baby is extra comfortable. One of the great comforts of the high chair is the 7 different seat positions. It allows the child to grow right along with the Chicco high chair. What makes it that much more special is that the child can sit at the table with mom and dad. The heights allow the baby high chair to look just like a regular chair. The Polly has an easy fold which stands upright for convenient storage. The trays on the high chair are removable and dishwasher safe, another feature designed to help mom and dad.

Comment: I really researched quite a few different highchairs and found others reviews helpful, so I though I would post mine. I decided on this highchair because I've loved Chicco products and loved the features of this highchair. I read others post about how they loved the vinyl covers, but I love Chicco's fabric covers. Vinyl covers stick to your baby and look cheap. These fabric covers are durable and things wipe off easily. The tray comes off with only having to use one hand. It rolls really easy from one room to another and the wheel locks work great if you don't want it to move. Its super easy to clean. I read a review that said they hated the seam on the tray because food gets caught in it. Its true that food can get caught in it, but it is super easy to clean out with just a swipe of a toothpick everynow and again. I've really like this highchair so far. It was easy to assemble and it's been very sturdy. Happy with my purchase.

Summary: my sons highchair 2009-11-04
Comment: I ordered this highchair last month. It took no time for it to be shipped to us. My son is just beginning to be able to sit up and use a highchair. My only complaint is the buckle system is a little hard to use. Other than that the seat was easy to put together and my son seems comfortable when he sits in it.

Summary: Overall Quality Highchair 2009-11-04
Comment: This highchair has been great overall. This is a Chicco product, and as with just about everything they make, this has a very high quality standard. While this product does not advertise all the features of some other highchairs, this model should easily take your little one all the way to a booster seat.
Setup - 5/5 - No small parts to work with. Everything in the box just needs to be snapped together. Overall, from cutting the box tape to have the little one ready to go, 5-10 minute task.
Adjustments - 3/5 - There are many different ways to adjust this highchair so that the baby fits in exactly perfect. The largest problem here is the harness system. While it's very secure when adjusted properly, you have no navigate the belts through two layers of padding, and your plastic pieces will sometimes be in between them. This can make it hard to get it perfect; you have to seat the baby, remove her, make adjustments, and repeat. If this came with two types of waist straps, say one long and one short, this problem would not exist. All the other adjustments, such as height and the fold up capabilities work well and can easily be completed one handed (although you should not be making any adjustments with the baby in the chair).
Cleaning - 4/5 - Simply put, clean this thoroughly after every use. If you don't let the food, drool, or diaper mess get crusted on, everything wipes off easily. There are a ton of folds, nooks, and crannies on this chair, which can make the cleanup a couple minute task. However, it's not a real big issue if you clean it right after the mess occurs.

Summary: Not worth the money 2009-10-25
Comment: I have had this high chair for years now. My husband and I bought it before our son was born and before we were "smart" and did all the research first.
My biggest problems with this chair are:
#1 I hate that the tray has the crotch piece that keeps your child from sliding out, attached to the tray. It is very annoying and when your child gets older and no longer uses the top straps to the harness you are always worrying that he/she may fall out when you take the tray off to set it down.
#2 since the tray has the crotch thing attached to it, it never sits flat and therefore when you sit it down to go back and get baby, the food and whatever else rolls down and may fall off the tray. You may be asking...why not just use the tray insert and take the tray insert off? Well, the tray insert is large and does not fit in the dishwasher unless it is going in diagonal, taking up the majority of space in your dishwasher. Also, the tray has so many crevices on the sides where food goes anyway, I find myself having to clean the tray too, so why bother with having to clean both.
#3 there are way too many crevices that have to be cleaned by running something flat through it to get all the gunk out.
#4 the chair never sits up straight, it is always at a slight recline. That is really annoying because WHO wants to eat with their chair reclined? My child is always having to lean forward.
#5 the chair arms do not fit above or below my dining table. So when your child gets old enough the chair arms have to be swung upward to push it up to the table. Not everyone's table may be at the same height, and so this is probably not a big deal to some, but it is annoying to me.
#6 the seat area is not big enough for a toddler with the tray on. It simply needs to be a little larger. Especially since the crotch thing is attached to the tray and even at the last notch to click the tray in, it is still tight.
In conclusion, I really just don't like this chair.
