Summary: Impossible to Clean! Dont buy! 2008-07-28
Comment: This high chair is impossible to keep clean. There are so many seams were food can get stuck. There is absolutely no reason for the base tray to be two parts and unwashable without getting water stuck in it. I used a toothbrush and toothpick to clean it but you have to do that daily to keep clean. And if you try to wash the whole chair outside with a water hose, water gets inside the chair and then the frame of our chair rusted. We used it for about 12 months and then I had to throw it out. A big disappointment.

Summary: Great looking - moderatly functional 2008-07-16
Comment: I basically have the same pros and cons as the rest...bottom line, I would NOT recommend to a friend.

PROS - it looks nice, folds up pretty flat and stays standing if you tilt it forward. I do not have issues getting the tray to sit on the little pegs and the recline is GREAT, we've been using it since our baby was a newborn so she could join us at the dining table. Also love that the height is adjustable though we don't actually use that feature - we chose a height and there it stays.

CONS - Can you say holes? So - the tray and the tray insert (which is a waste b/c I always have to wash both - guess I have one of those babies that needs to be fed in the bathtub according to previous reviewer) are huge and will not fit in any dishwasher. We are building a house and purchased everything for it beginning with studs and I looked :) Worse, there are holes in the large tray and I have to avoid getting water in them when washing! And yes, as the others said - my baby doesn't really even eat that much food (she eats solids 1-2x/day and has for 2 months) and they are GROSS!

I bought the Fisher Price Rainforest chair for our beach house which straps to a dining chair and comes with toys. While it is bright green and slightly obnoxious looking, it is MUCH easier to clean and entertains my 8 month old while I am prepping her food and I would recommend it to a new mom rather than this clean-up disaster.

Summary: Disappointed with this one 2008-02-04
Comment: This chair is hard to keep clean and the tray is too big and clumsy as other reviewers have stated. The tray does not possibly fit into any type of dishwasher; I think the 2nd tray is unnecessary because I end up cleaning both each time (doesn't prevent the bottom one from getting dirty). My biggest frustration is that my son (a big baby) is never positioned right in this chair. The tray is always too high for him and he slides down and slouches all the time. I've been using a book as a booster for this thing so that he's sitting up straight and his arms can easily reach the tray now that he loves to feed himself finger foods. The tray doesn't push in far enough either. This is an attractive chair though and it rolls around easily.

Summary: Love this chair! 2007-11-04
Comment: I love this high chair. I've been using it for a year and a half. Yes, the tray doesn't fit in the dishwasher but you have to clean it more often than you're doing dishes anyway, and it only takes a quick wipe. I love the one-handed feature, which is easy enough to get used to. It's also great how it fits on the back of the legs for storage. My son loves teh chair and enjoys being able to choose whether it's up or down. He's been climbing in it ever since he could do so, which is handy since I have my hands ful with #2--who will be using the chair next in a couple months! The wheels are handy for moving around, and the height adjustments mean you can seat the chair at the right height for any table, letting them feel part of the family. I highly recommend this product.

Summary: Don't buy this chair! 2007-10-14
Comment: All the cons you are reading in these reviews are true!! The tray is too large and clumsy. The removable tray is too large for the dishwasher which I thought would be no big deal. But, it is. It comes with two trays, but you are always washing one, so there's really no point in having two. I always feel like I'm squishing my daughters abdomen in when I put the tray on. And ths straps are big and bulky and hard to clean and my daughter does not make a mess when she eats. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, stay away from this chair. I also was drawn to it because of the nice pattern, but would rather have fishes and stars at this point. My daughter is 18 months old and will either go to a booster seat or we will purchase another type of chair. I don't fold it up because I don't find it to be very stable standing on its own. Find something more parent and kid friendly!
