Summary: Best mats for under highchairs...and I've tried so many 2008-01-29
Comment: These mats are fabulous. I have one under each of my twins (who have reflux and make huge messes while eating) highchairs and they work fabulously. I've thrown them in the washer more times than I can count and they still look new. The other reviewer is correct about the thickness...We see it as a benefit because the gripping back panel keeps the mats on the floor. We've traveled with them across the country even though they don't become microscopic when you fold them. Of all the mats I tried, these were superior to everything in terms of use and I love being able to throw them in the washer.

Summary: perhaps not sturdy 2007-12-02
Comment: The first time I tried to clean this (by shaking it out first) the seams started to rip out. Sending it back for another now. The quality of this is OK. It is kind of thick - enough so that it doesn't fold up small - but it also is flexible enough that it doesn't lie completely flat on the floor. Handy so that you can wash it easily (assuming it doesn't come apart, that is), but heavy enough it will stick to the floor OK. Not perfect, but will be good enough for me if it stays together (at which point I'll bump up my 2* rating).

Summary: Very heavy duty mat, not very portable though 2007-08-17
Comment: This heavy duty mat would be great for home use, as it's neutral color works well in any room. It folds to 7" X 8.5" x 4", 1 ½ lbs, and comes with a clear vinyl storage pouch. Made of waterproof, heavy duty wipe-clean vinyl, with thick non-slip rubber backing suitable for carpet or tile. Machine washable; line dry; The 42" x 42" is smaller than other mats on the market. I give it four stars because it doesn't lie completely flat around the edges and it's way too bulky for travel.

Summary: It Does What it Claims 2007-03-25
Comment: Love this. I've washed it a few times, run a mop over it, and even had the vacuum on it as well. Not one part of it is falling apart. Nice grip on the bottom too. Love it, and it doesn't have some silly cartoon character printed all over it!! My kitchen doesn't have to look like a nursery -- yeay :-)
