Summary: Day one is great. You will NEVER get this chair that clean again. 2010-01-30
Comment: So, this chair looked so cool. Was so excited to start using it! Overall, it suffers from "seemed like a good idea at the time" syndrome. I would not pay $150 bucks for this highchair ever again. And here's why:

1- The straps were great but POP - they snapped my finger skin, resulting in an immediate blood blister. This has happened numerous times to me - thank goodness it hasn't happened to my baby! Could you imagine getting a crank baby up there to feed only to get her MORE cranky and in pain?

2 - The tray STAINS - do not even think about giving your toddler anything with spaghetti sauce.

3 - The "cute" apple on the top of the tray gets food stuck in the corners and it is not a quick wipe-clean situation. It requires putting the entire tray in the sink and spraying it down.

4 - The booster seat-release, unbeknownst to me, is a notorious food trap. Nastiness.

5 - The tray is a two-hander - you cannot hold your baby and pull out the tray, it gets stuck so easily. What if the tray doesn't come out when the baby's in there? Gives me nightmares, in a sense.

6 - The "retro" waffle design elements on the side of the highchair - it is IMPOSSIBLE to get these clean. I really don't think they ever will be. It's unsightly and makes me feel dirty.

7 - It is very difficult to take out the pad - it's comfy and cute, though. BUT the plastic covering is coming off the pad where it bends a lot (like in the crotch/area) and is discolored.

8 - It does seem a little rickety - but it has good give and it hasn't faltered on us yet...

We've been using this chair for 6-7 months. The bumbo that she was in before this was SO easy to clean. I wish, wish, wish, they would make a bumbo highchair!! Purchase at your own peril... Aside from the cleaning issues, it's not a bad set, but definitely not worth the money.

Summary: Molded Plate Not Convenient 2009-12-13
Comment: The biggest problem I have with this is that the plate is molded into a shape onto the "table" and so we can't use any other plates or bowls! I wish I could return this but we had bought it before my daughter could use it, and it has been too many months now.
Customer Rating: 3 Star
Summary: not what I thought but it'll do 2009-11-09
Comment: I bought this high chair because I liked the brand and the stlye, and over all I like the chair, but there are a few things that bug me about it.
1) The grips on the back legs make it really hard to move around with baby in it. It should have 4 wheels not two.
2) the apple shape on the tray gets food stuck in the corners and makes it hard to wash off. I though that the red apple on the tray was just a plate, but under the red plate is the same raised shape permanently on the tray. Its very akward.
And 3) When my daughter moves around in the chair too much it looks like its going to break. I know its not but it can really shake. It would probable be more stable if it was all one piece but you can take it all apart and that seems to make it wabbley.

Those things don't alway get in the way or cause frustration so overall I'm ok with the high chair but I think theres probable better ones out there.

Summary: Hard to clean 2009-09-03
Comment: This chair is really hard to clean. I have had to return the tray for a new one because it got stuck. The second tray did the same thing and I had to get a new chair this time. I had to pay for shiping on both returns.... The new chair seems to be a little better but still hard to clean and the tray is difficult to get off. Don't buy this chair!

Customer Rating: 4 Star
Summary: Mostly good.... 2009-08-26
Comment: First off, we love the look of this chair. It looks a little more subdued and modern than some with baby designs all over them. The seat is nicely padded, the tray is plenty large enough for plates, bowls, sippy cups, etc. I love the pull-out cup/bottle holder at the front of the tray, and that you can easily remove the top smaller try for washing, etc. It seems pretty sturdy, the seat wipes down fairly easily and it looks like there is a lot of room for our 9-month old to grow into it in the next couple of years. The downsides - hard to maneuver with one hand because of the non-rolling feet on the back wheels. Not so great sometimes when I have the baby in one arm and trying to move it with the other. There are a lot of creases and seams for crumbs and food to get into. The biggest minus of this high chair is, as other reviewers mentioned, the latch. It is two-pronged, and extremely hard to click open or closed.
