Summary: Decent chair for the money 2008-10-02
Comment: I paid way less than 60 bucks at the childrens store. You have to watch how you take the baby out because my baby's legs has got caught and scratched serveral times. Wished the part between the leg came off as well with the tray. Other than that does its job fine. Also a little difficult to set up.

Summary: You gets what you pay for 2008-01-02
Comment: This is one of the cheapest highchairs out (note on price: it's only $29.99 at WalMart) and unfortunately it shows. It was fairly easy to assemble as it has few parts but the holes were too small for the screws supplied and I had to drill them out to fit. There's not much of a range in the recline positions and even in the furthest back baby slides down in the seat, and since the harness is only 3 point and made of very narrow webbing it cuts into her. It's quite a bulky chair but has nowhere to really hang bibs and towels though I did manage to squeeze a few on a slot in the back of the chair base which seems to actually be designed for carrying it. Finally on the downside, it is very flimsy - there are no struts between the legs to strengthen the construction and it has a rather high center of gravity which leads me to believe that a larger, active child could possibly turn it over.
On the upside, other than the price, it is easy to clean all round - most more expensive chairs seem to have fabric seats which looks lovely but have to be taken off and washed, whereas this one is vinyl wipe-clean - and there aren't many nooks and crannies for food to lodge in. I'm using it for a five month old just starting to spoon feed and there is plenty of room for her to flail around without smacking her hands and elbows on anything, which I find a plus as this is the first time she has been strapped in anything restricting other than a car seat. I don't have to haul it around to granny's and auntie's houses so it's lack of mobility isn't really a problem for me. Overall it's a serviceable highchair for my current needs though I think I will probably have to upgrade to something a bit sturdier later on.

Summary: Less Expensive @WalMart!!! 2007-11-14
Comment: I haven't had a baby since my daughter was small and she is now 8-yrs-old. I bought her highchair for $30 back in 1999 and was hoping that similar deals still existed for my newest addition. I searched amazon and Babies'R'Us and found nothing. Finally checked out WalMart's site and found this chair for $29.87.
Though I would let everybody else know!
