I'm not sure if it's because the toys need to be "broken in" a bit, but I was hoping they would be easy to fill up and squirt. My husband and I tried to fill them up for our daughter to show her how to do it and have had a really hard time getting it full of water, and it seems like they have to be squeezed really hard to try and get them to squirt ... maybe once our daughter is much older she will have better luck with them, for now they sit at the edge of our tub not being used.

Loved these cute characters very much, but after a few weeks and now months, they are quite gross to me because I know there is mould growing inside them! No easy way to clean them out (I've tried squishing them out with water & bleach mix, and some of the crud comes out, but it always grows back). HOWEVER, to be fair, this is a bath toy, so really, I shouldn't be surprised at that!
Buy it, enjoy it and toss it when it gets icky - that's my recommendation.
