I've been using this car seat with my now 3 year-old since he was about 3 months old. While the rear-facing vs. forward-facing directions are slightly more involved, the extra 5 minutes on installation made me feel 100% comfortable with this product.

All of the "cons" become "pros" in my honest opinion -- for example, it takes longer to initially install (properly adjust for your vehicle etc) than some of the other car seats. However, once you've customized the adjustment, this seat stays perfectly in place.

Next - the adjustment for the latch system is a little stiff. However, this also means that once it's adjusted, it's not going to budge.

Unless you're changing vehicles every day, these are minor details. Also - these adjustments are easy to do and hardly take any time once you have learned the mechanics of the seat. It's not rocket science - open the manual and the seemingly obvious steps become even easier =)

I would buy this car...Read more

This car seat is not that bad, but I feel like I can never really get it tight enough. I can never get the angle right either, and my daughter's head always flops forward when she falls asleep, this is because of the angle and the fact that the head cushion makes their head forward instead flush like other seats i've seen. This seat is in my husband's car, she rearfaced till she was 3 in my car, but I wasn't comfortable with this seat rearfacing AT ALL, so we only ever used this one forward facing because she was 'old enough' by the time we bought it. I'm sure you can find something better. I bought this at the store with out doing any research. plus side, I think the fabric is really nice, and my daughter likes how wide it is.

Loved this seat- so stylish! I had purchased the Eddie bauer travel system for our baby and loved it! My son quickly outgrew the infant seat- So I had searched for an eddie bauer seat that would last till he was out of them- This one is great- easy to install- My son loves it, so comfy! easy to clean, very adjustable to each childs needs, head rest is adjustable, as well as the straps, tether system is easy to adjust if needed to remove the seat. LOVE IT!! WOULD RECCOMMEND!!
