And yes, it matched perfectly BUT....
1.) The finish has chipped in a ton of places. It is really thin with no kind of clear coat (How 'bout some shellac over here?!) to protect it. 2.) It is an absolut PAIN to clean! Food gets in between the slats on the side and I have to use a toothbrush to get it out. On top of that, if you don't clean up any food before it dries it is next to impossible to get off. I nanny triplets, so I don't have time to scrub shoulder straps with a toothbrush... this chair is so easy to use and clean up when we're done. It doesn't have a bunch of bells and whistles, but honestly, who really wants all that stuff? When it comes right down to it, you want something practical and low maintenance.. so we bought more than one... When we purchased it, there were huge cracks in the wood and parts missing. I would never put a baby 3 feet off the ground in this thing. I am a mom who is normally against craptastic plastic and liked the idea of this high chair's aesthetic, but I can recognize a polished turd when I see one. |
