Euro II Highchair Cherry

My son refused to give up this Euro II (natural finish) high chair when he turned 4 years old, so we ended up getting a second one (cherry finish) for the little sister. We've been using the Euro II high chair for years, and have been happy with it. To summarize our experience:

Pros:
-It's durable: This chair can take a beating, spills, and even a 180 pound adult! Don't push the weight limit though because the manufacturer recommends 150 pounds. Both the natural finish and cherry finish are very easy to clean, although you'll notice the mess on cherry very easily.
-It's beautiful: Once you get rid of the unsightly straps, and flimsy cushion, you have a beautiful chair that looks classy enough to be used at a formal dining table.
-Long term use: We've had the first one for four years now, and it's still looking very good, and intact. It's also a huge hit with guests, and all visiting kids want to sit on this chair.

Bought the dark cherry color which was true to color. The seat cushion has velcro so it doesn't slide. Also bought the tray which provides a tray insert for fast easy cleanup, I take it to the sink spray it clean and let it dry for next use. Also bought seat cushion covers with back cushion. Using the seat cushion cover became an exercise of futility because it would constantly get dirty and need a wash. I found it easier to use the vinyl cushion without cover and simple wipe down. Also the tray is not needed if you plan to feed at your dining table every time but we like it because we can bring baby into kitchen while cooking and give baby snack or in the living room to watch videos. The straps/belt are great too because they optionally go over the shoulder or just around the waist. Overall the price beat the other chairs of similar style and matches our dining table and will be use for many years growing with the child.

This is a great product if you aren't planning on using it for more than 6 months. Soon the plastic seat cushion will split open and start to fall apart, then the plastic tray will start to yellow and crack due to the incredibly cheap material it's made from. Then by about the year/year and a half mark the bolts WILL START TO BEND AND BREAK (from a 25-30 pound toddler.) Soon your child will be abruptly dropped to the floor after banging her chin on the table.
