Summary: DO NOT BUY EVENFLO HIGH CHAIRS!! 2007-03-22
Comment: I have now owned 2 Evenflo high chairs, and both have resulted in injury to my children!
The first was the Evenflo Envision chair, and my son got his arm caught between the A frame support and the body of the chair itself. The space between the supports and the chair was too wide!! His elbow was nearly dislocated when we removed it!!
We contacted Evenflo, who gave us the NEW version of the chair, which had a much smaller space between the two. We thought this would solve the problem, and since we loved the chair otherwise, were happy.
NOW, my daughter, who is 6 months, got her fingers pinched in the holes at the back of the legs that allow for the height adjustment feature. The skin was shredded clean off her tiny fingers. We will NEVER buy an Evenflo chair again, as ALL EVENFLO HIGH CHAIRS HAVE THIS DESIGN, including the MAJESTIC, ENVSION, and EXPRESSIONS!! DO NOT BUY!!!

Summary: This is a dangerous high chair 2007-02-12
Comment: I did not read reviews before purchasing this, big mistake!! I splurged like all the other reviewers and was very disappointed. My daughter got her leg caught between the snack tray and the big tray. I almost broke her leg getting her out. She ended up with a bruise from the tray. I emailed Evenflo and they took the chair back and are sending me a check. They were very responsive, but I was also very assertive. So, if you have a comment I encourage you all to email/call the company. They should recall this chair with all of the issues. It was also really hard to put together. I hope that no one else buys this until they change the design completely.

Summary: Complete waste of money and a SAFETY HAZARD 2007-01-28
Comment: Isn't there an option for negative five stars?
I unfortunately bought this highchair because of the toy feature and failed to read reviews. The toys stinks for many reasons which I won't go into most of the other reviews covered it.
My major concern was that my son actually used his legs to push the center brace and one day I noticed the screw and bolt came off that held the back on allowing it to recline. There is definitely something wrong in the manufacturing because even when replaced they tended to come off (screw too short or stripped from reclining up and down?)
Once the entire back came off as we were trying to fix it, fortunately our son wasn't in it. I contacted the company and they promptly sent me a new bag of "hardware" because they felt that was all we needed. What a complete waste of time. It still doesn't work properly and we don't have a usable high chair. For a baby to have the strength to break it? What a piece of junk!
FYI to other mothers: find one with shoulder straps. Our little one (no matter how tight we buckled) found a way to pull himself out and wriggle up.

Summary: Awful Highchair - Don't buy it 2006-08-27
Comment: Repeating what the other reviewers have already said....this highchair is terrible. I thought I would splurge and get a highchair with all the bells and whistles, but it tuned out to be waste of money. The tray is too high and the seat is reclined even when in the full upright position. The toy is a piece of junk. The sound is muffled and the buttons are hard for a young baby (i.e. <1 yr.) to activate. On top of that, the voice is so annoying, so maybe it's best that the buttons can't be activated! There is a separate plastic liner for the large tray - it is dishwasher safe but, really, who waits to wash such a thing until the dishwasher is full? There is a strorage compartment which I have found no use for. There are little pull out trays to sit bottles of food - again really no use for them. Perhaps if Evenflo got the structure of the chair right (the tray height and the seat angle), the bells and whistles (toy, storage, trays) would have been nice bonues. As it is, I think I paid a lot of money for something that will soon hit the dumpster.

Summary: This is pitiful 2006-08-20
Comment: My husband bought this highchair when our son was 4 months old. He thought it looked great at the time...if only we had known. Ditto other reviewers, the tray is too high or the seat is too low...it is absolutely ridiculous. My son is NOW 18 months old, also in the 95th percentile for height, and it is STILL too high for him. I also have the complaint that the tray is tilted towards him, and there is no lip on the bottom of the tray so everything rolls off onto him. It has a cup holder in the upper part of the tray, but who the heck has a toddler with arms long enough to reach it? I am astounded that a company like Evenflo would sell this, it is absolutely pitiful.
He does get some use out of the toy, but he has to play with it on the floor. I give up using the tray, he has to eat off of the snack tray. Poor poor design. Very disappointing.
