Nice Looking but Functionality is Lacking,

My daughter has been using this high chair for 6 months. The first one we got had a lot of damage to the wood so it had to be returned to Fisher Price. They exchanged it without any problems.
I like the look of it and it's nice that the tray is dishwasher safe but it is lacking in other areas.
First, the straps are nearly impossible to thread in and out of the holes which makes cleaning them difficult. They wash up great in the washing machine but it's such a pain to get them in and out that you won't want to do it often. We had to use needle nosed pliers to get the straps through the holes. Fortunately our daughter is now old enough that she doesn't need the straps so we just keep a close eye on her and don't use the straps at all anymore. The seat pad washes up well in the washing machine as well.
Second, there are nooks and crannies in the hinges that make this seat impossible to clean. I have to use tweezers to get food chunks out because my...Read more

Attractive, Sturdy High Chair,

Ok, first off this high chair looks great it my dining room/living room. The tray is a generous size, and it cleans up really well. As the previous reviewer said, the straps ARE hard to get out for cleaning, but it's rare that I need to clean the straps. If you remove only the COVER, that part is easy to do. It's been rare that my son made such a mess that I needed to clean the straps, maybe only a few times so far and he's 21 months old. But the cover has been washed more than that and still looks really nice. Yes there are some cracks that are hard to clean, but overall not bad and I limit how much mess my son makes in this thing anyway...he's getting better at feeding himself but I don't let him feed himself super messy foods at this stage so the high chair isn't taking too much of a beating. We do use this a lot though, and my son usually has coloring or "sticker book" time in this high chair after meals. He is a big/tall boy, but he fits comfortably in this chair. Glad I...Read more

I have owned, and used this high chair for 6 months. I just ordered a different one. This is the WORST high chair to clean. There are crevices, where food gets stuck, I cannot even reach with the tips of my fingers. We have to use a pair of pliers every time we remove the straps to clean them. I can't wait for my new high chair to get here, so I can leave this one by the side of the road with a "free" sign on it.
