I thought this would be the coolest/most functional high chair we could choose. I purchased for my 1 yr old who loved it as soon as i began unpacking. Unfortunately the part that i loved most about this item was clearly its downfall. The "toddler" chair snaps to the "table" to create the high chair. Upon the slightest pressure to the chair, it popped off - the snap feature was not secure enough to keep the chair locked to its base. I am glad that i tested this before plopping my son in to enjoy, I have no doubt that the first time he leaned back with any pressure - he and the chair would have gone crashing to the floor.
The company (Chit Chat Baby) that shipped the item to me was very unhelpful assisting with my return - almost rude. They told me they would not refund the item with shipping, that I could only contact the manufacturer to request a part to fix the item. Needless to say I was not going to risk my son falling - replacement part or not. Additionally, the...Read more

I bought the exact same high chair when it was made under the Combi brand. I got this for my four month old, who is now two, and he loves it! We used it all the time when he was younger, since he liked sitting up high. Now that he is older, we use it mainly for eating, but also take it apart to use the table and chair separately. The tray could be a little closer to him, but it's not too bad. You have to be careful to line up the tray just right, but it's easy enough to get the hang of it. Also, the snaps are kind of stiff. I've just starting leaving one side buckled and getting him out that way. This chair is so easy to put together. I love the fact that all you need is a quarter to twist the nuts in, rather than having to dig out a screwdriver. You will have to check the nuts every few months or so to tighten them, but it's really easy and not a big deal. It's also really easy to fit into a car for weekend trips or holidays. I took it to my parents' house, and the chair fits inside...Read more

This is a good looking, quality product. Just a couple of flaws. The latches are made of cheap hard plastic and they are very hard to squeeze. Also, the removable tray is not secured by anything so that is useless. Kids will always pull that one off. The engineers who contributed to these two aspects of the product should be fired for their stupidity. Even minimal testing would have revealed these shortcomings. Another improvement would be to have some wheels.
I still like it far better than most of the ones I have seen in the retail stores though, because of the simple color scheme, good overall design, and the ability to use it as a table and chair as well. S.C.
