After much research, we settled on this highchair...and very glad we did.

I love the removable tray insert. For extra-tough messes, just pop it off and stick it in the dishwasher.

The design is a very stylish aqua and brown theme, enhancing any decor. The wheels make it very easy to maneuver around, and the reclining seat makes feeding young infants a breeze.

The chair part comes off of the legs and becomes a booster...so the unit will last you all through your child's early years.

This chair has so much potential to be the perfect high chair. It was easy to assemble, the cover easily comes off for washing, it has several height and recline positions, and the wheels make moving it around a breeze. For those reasons, we won't be taking it back. However, as a new parent, I wish I would have known to pay more attention to these 3 things:

1. The portion that goes between the baby's legs is attached to the tray, rather than to the chair itself. I suppose this is necessary for the "booster" feature because I guess a toddler wouldn't need or want that piece. It would even be problematic in and of itself if not for the remaining two issues:

2. The straps are a pain. They made it so you can detach the shoulder pieces and just use the waist piece. However, if you want/need to use the shoulder pieces, there's now way to leave them attached. You have to reaffix them to the buckle with every use.
