Graco Mealtime Highchair-Melanie

I have been researching high chairs for quite a while and have gone and tried out most of the brands (including high end) I wanted a high chair for our little girl that was easy to clean, first of all, worked well, had wheels, was not too big and bulky, folded, raised and lowered, and reclined - oh - and it had to look good. I really wanted something that looked girlish, also. We chose not to find out whether she was a girl or boy when I was pregnant and so we have a lot of green and neutral baby equipment. This was the only one that met all the criteria. I really wanted the Chicco Polly in the pink and grey color but after reading many negative reviews about how it was sooo hard to clean I kept looking. I looked at the Peg Peregos but I had one of the those back when my 14 year old was a baby and used it through all of my first three children. This is a useless chair. The tray is too close to the seat and my 5 month old chunky baby barely fit. Even if your child is thin, this won't last you more than age 1. The top tray has adjustable positions, but the undertray is fixed. This chair also requires assembly. It's easy, but takes a little time. Buy a Graco Contempo chair instead. Our older daughter has one and we love it. We returned this one and bought another Contempo. It comes assembled and is nice and roomy. Our older daughter is 26 months and still using it.

Love the high chair, baby is comfy and secure. Wish the wheels on the front spin like the back, but overall a great chair!
