Summary: Great Chair 2008-06-23
Comment: This is a great space saving chair that holds on very strongly to the table. I originally bought it for my grandson for those times he comes to my house. Unfortunately it didn't fit with the way our table is made so I gave it to my daughter. Because she lives in a 1 bedroom apartment and doesn't have a lot of room for a high chair, this worked out great for her (and luckily fit on her table). She loves it. It feels very sturdy and safe.

Comment: We got this for my little one when she was about 7 months old and she's still using it now (she's 10mo.). It is very easy to use, and I love that it ships quickly and requires no assembly. We haven't had any problems with it scratching our dining table, and in fact now have one at each grandparents' house! The fancy-shmancy Primo Pappa high chair we naively registered for before the baby was born just takes up space, since she loves this seat so much better. Also, very easy to take with you to restaurants, etc. and tray is a breeze to clean. Would highly recommend!

Summary: Best $35 I've spent in a long time! 2008-05-25
Comment: We originally bought a shopping cart/high chair cover and I hated it! It completely didn't work in shopping carts and it did not work very well on restaurant high chairs. And the cover did nothing to keep my daughter's hands and mouth off the restaurant tables. This product is 100 times better for not much more money (esp. with the free shipping). I figured out how to use this high chair in literally 60 seconds as I was rushing out the door to meet friends at a pottery painting place. My two friends did not have these and struggled to chase their kids all over the store while my daughter sat beautifully in this chair that clipped easily onto the table where I was painting. I didn't buy one of these initially because I was concerned about how secure it would be but now I have no worries -- it's quite strong and stable. The attachable tray is a huge bonus to keep hands and mouth off the dirty tables themselves. I can't recommend this product highly enough!

Comment: This is a great product. We bought one four years ago with our first son, then we had twins and were in need of a second one. Amazon was one of the few places I could find one. We use them on trips to grandparents, vacations, etc. They fold flat for storing or in the back of vehicle and hook right onto the table or island in the kitchen (it is not neccesary to use the tray). I highly recommend this product!

Comment: This chair works great for us. I got it after seeing one at the house of a friend and thinking it would be great to replace the cumbersome traditional high chair we have. My baby is petite at 6 months old and I have been using it for almost two months already with only one adjustment- we have draped a full size, regular bath towel, folded in half length wise, over the seat and over the bars of the sides to provide some extra filler and some padding. I can see that this prop will only be necessary until she is stronger at sitting up alone. I carried it into a restaurant and with my child being small (at 5 months old), I found it easy to deal with when the high chair seat they had available was too big. It is lightweight and not too bulky in size, meaning I could carry it and my purse/diaper bag and the baby. I have not yet had to clean it with the towel rig in place.
---On the downside-- I can see that a child could climb up and out of the seat as the buckle is only a three point harness. I do have trouble with the locking mechanism that releases it into a flat folded position and it does not stay flat in the folded position, making it a bit difficult to transport. A simple tote would likely make this trouble less of a concern.
We do not use the tray attachment. We do hang a bib and a small bag of toys on the bars off the back of the seat for easy access.
Overall, I would recommend this chair to someone who is looking to keep their child close at the family meal, to save space or to take an easy seat to travel or eat out.
