Hippo Hook-On Table Chair with Travel Bag - Oxford

Comment: We just got this for our 6-month old who is just starting to sit up. She LOVES that she can sit at the table with us for meals, games, etc. and it is easy to install & remove from the table to take elsewhere. It is also really sturdy & the rubber hippos won't scratch the table surface.

My only minor complaints are: to fold it up small enough to fit in the travel bag, it appears that the "arms" have to be completely removed, which is too much trouble; I'd rather just fold it up part-way (flat) and carry it without the bag.

There is also a gap between baby and the table where food can easily spill; I guess the solution to this is placing a towel or spill cloth on baby's lap while she eats.

It's also not recommended on tables that rest on one center leg, like restaurant tables, probably since it would tip the table over!


I actually haven't fed my baby in it yet, but she loves to sit in it every day while I cook/clean in the kitchen, which is so great for me! That alone makes this product worth the price! This seat would even make a great substitute for a real high-chair!
