Inglesina FAST Chair

I bought this chair over a year ago when my son turned 6 months. He's now 19 months and is still using this chair. We chose this chair because it fit on our table (unlike the Chicco which needs a lot of clearance) and we wanted a well padded and comfortable chair (unlike P&T's which doesn't have much padding). Our son eats all meals at home in this chair.

The great things about the chair are as follows.
1. It's very secure - we've had no issues whatsover with it coming loose.
2. It's portable - it's not the smallest when folded up (think P&T's is smaller) but it does fold flat and comes with it's own bag (which is part of the chair) which makes it easy to carry around, bring to restaurants etc.
3. It's easy to clean - I usually wipe it down in the evenings, and give it a light 5 minute scrubbing in soapy water once in a while after dinner + the food comes out easily. The chair dries overnight and is good to go by breakfast time.

We use this as our main high chair and it is wonderful! Our son (6 months) loves being right at the table, it looks very comfortable, is nice looking, super easy and fast to hook-on, and VERY secure. I also love that the bag stays attached and stores under the seat, so whenever we go out to eat, it is very quick to take the chair off and flip it into the carrying bag. While shopping for this type of product, we bought and returned another chair (zooper) because it didn't fit on our counter or feel secure. The Inglesina has fit perfectly everywhere we have tried to put it! We have also yanked and pulled on the chair while secured to the kitchen counter and it does not wiggle or budge at all. Our son is also very comfortable in it now, but will easily be able to use it for years. We have this chair in brown....on our computer it looked brown, navy and cream, but it is brown, navy, and light blue IRL. Looks nice and very unobtrusive in our small home.

I bought two of these chairs when my twin boys were about 7 months old and just getting into eating solid foods. They worked wonderfully then. My babies could sit happily at the kitchen counter and play with a toy while I did dishes or cooked. But as they grew they began to escape from the chairs. There is no 5-point harness to secure them in which is a big flaw in the design. The lap belt that does exist loosens up as soon as you tighten it up.

Other than that I would say that the overall design is great. They are so easy to take apart and clean, fold down nicely, and are fast to hook on and secure to a counter or table.

My boys are now 12 months old and unfortunately these great (and expensive) chairs are now sitting in my garage. I have resorted to pulling their high chairs back and forth from the dining room to the kitchen.
