Inglesina Fast Table Chair, Cioccolato

I received my chairs today and I'm super excited! I am a mother of 20 month old twins and I ordered these chairs to move them from the highchair to the table. They are very sturdy, very compact, and very lightweight. I like the fact that there is not a long support bar that go under the table. I plan on taking them with us on our vacation so we will not have to use the resturant highchairs that are almost always nasty/dirty.

Things that people might like to know about these chairs is the colors shown on the website are nowhere close to the actual color you receive. The pink color is more so red, and the purple one is more like a deep plum color. Also they do not sit real close to the table (like almost all of them), so you will need a bib or table tray with a "catch all" pocket. We loved the "look" of this elegantly designed and very space efficient clip-on high-chair however the single buckle waist strap was woefully inadequate for securing our little wriggler. He was easily able to shimmy himself loose, nearly pull himself to a standing position, and, had not at least one of intervened, could have quickly crawled onto the table or, worse yet, toppled himself out of the chair. We found a much less expensive chair that straps onto a regular dining room chair. It has a 3-point harness system and a tray that snaps snuggly across our son's lap. Dinnertime has become much less hazardous (except for the occaisional flying peas, bits of cheese, etc.)

I have not used this chair with my child yet, she is too little. I wanted to say that the Papavero color is dark red (with tan accents), not pink as the photo looks. It is a nice combination though. I like this chair because it is versatile to all table tops. The bottom levers that hook to the underside of the table screw up and down, allowing a nice and firm hold. I bought this brand because our table has a "skirt" just a few inches in and this chair needed the shortest space to hold. The material is a sturdy canvas, like a Jansport backpack material. The seat is cushioned, but definately not plush and cozy. Overall this chair is exactly what I wanted.
