Summary: Nice item to have. 2008-06-20
Comment: This is great and very portable. I had little problems with it the three weeks I just spent at my grandmother's with my 5 month old. They can roll in between the air matress and the tent. I solved the problem by taking out the air matress and letting her sleep on just the sleeping bag. I figured the air matress can be used when she is older. Other than than that the only thing easier than taking it apart is putting it together. It might take a little practice to put away if you have never used the car visors that are similar.

Summary: Great find! 2008-06-16
Comment: We were looking for something which my 22 month old sone could sleep in on short trips. He loves it! It gives him a sense of independence and he can use it to play in also. It's great for outdoors as well as inside and the great thing about it is it's portable. We put him down to sleep in one room and them carried him into the bedroom when we were ready to sleep - it took two of us though. Also, it's easy to pack and upack. My son moves around a lot when he sleeps so the only bad thing I can say is it makes a lot of noise when he hits the sides. Other than that, we are very happy with our purchase.

Summary: An amazing travel bed! 2008-06-16
Comment: We purchased this travel bed for our youngest son (18 months) for a Memorial Day weekend visit to see family. We had previously used a pack and play with little success because it was too small and our son felt like he was trapped in a pen. We were looking for an aerobed for him until we saw the PeaPod. We liked the idea that the PeaPod would keep him in roughly one place, but was soft-sided and open. It also looked like it would be fun to sleep in, which would be better for him and us. It was fairly easy to set up, although a little more instruction might have been beneficial because we put the inflatable sleeping pad in the wrong place. But then it was late and we had had too long a drive to our destination. Our son slept solidly using is bed, which was the real dividend for us. He had tons of room in the PeaPod, so his rolling around when he slept did not result in him waking up. The next day, when it was time for his nap, he went right towards the PeaPod without any fussing. With a little help from Dad, he crawled inside the PeaPod and took his nap. Truly remarkable! The real test will come later this summer when we're on vacation for two weeks. However, we're confident that we'll be alright given the success we had during this long weekend visit.

Summary: Lighter and less of a hassle than dragging a playpen around! 2008-06-11
Comment: We bought this for our baby so we didn't have to lug a huge playpen around for her to sleep when we were visiting family. Also a good thing: with airlines charging $$ for an extra bag, this beauty will help out with weight! Compact and light. And, no, the pump does work- it continuously blows out air. I've only used the travel bed for a long weekend getaway, and so far, so good! I aired out the tent for a week first and turned the sleeping bag inside out to use as a mat for my 4 month old to sleep on top. She was fine and happy and had no problems adjusting to the new bed. Yes, read the directions as to how to fold the tent and you should be fine.

Summary: Great to travel 2008-06-09
Comment: We bought this for our vacation this year for our 11 month old and it was great. Small package to carry and take with you. We put him in it for only a week ahead of time, which I recommend and he did great. I would recommend to anyone. One of our friends is going to borrow it for her 18 month old later this summer as well.
