Summary: Bright and cheery, but not durable 2010-01-31
Comment: I love the way this splash mat looks. And it does wipe down really well. But it's definitely not meant for any machine washing. My baby dumps everything off her high chair. Most of the time, I sponge down the splash mat and it's fine. But sometimes it's just too much and I throw the thing in the washer. Now it's developing small rips. I realize that they don't say it's machine washable, so if you can get by without it, all power to you. But if you suspect that you may need to resort to the machine from time to time, know that the mat won't last the year.

Comment: My wife recieved several splat mats at her baby shower and the only one we kept was the polka dot one from Divas & Drooligans. It's hip, well made, and a breeze to clean. Highly reccomended as a great functional gift for anyone with a baby or tot. I can't tell you how many questions we get about it. I'm about to order another =)

Comment: I bought this splat mat a few months ago because I have very ridged tile in the kitchen, which makes it difficult to clean. When the mat arrived, I was a bit surprised at how thin the material is. Also, there is no backing on the mat, so it slides around on the tile, and also tends to curl and fold on the edges.
Cleaning this mat is easier than cleaning my bumpy tile floor in the kitchen, but not of the quality I expected for the price.
