My daughter just turned one and has been using the handisitt highchair for almost 6 months. I LOVE this chair. It is perfect for my 800 sq ft house. I needed this chair b/c my house is so small & we have a tall kitchen table. I wanted her to sit w/ us, not below us like in most other highchairs. So far we have run into no problems. I even packed it in my suitcase when we flew across the country for vacation! There is a strap to secure it the the chair as well as the hooks on top. I secure it to the back of the chair, not the seat of the chair. This way if baby leans over the side, the chair is stabilized. I found it very easy to clean as well. Ultimately, if you want a highchair that sits in another chair and you don't mind NOT having a tray table for baby, this IS the chair for you!

This product is totally unsafe. We used it two weeks ago in a restaurant for our 9 month old son. He dropped his spoon (as all babies do at this age) and as soon as he leaned a little to the side, the top of the portable high chair (where the hooks are) slid right off the chair and he toppled into my lap. Thankfully I was sitting right next to him or he would have face-planted into the floor. There is a strap that goes underneath the chair, but nothing to adjust the back so as soon as there is any lateral motion it slides off.

DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR!!! We have had ours for six months and we have tried it on two different types of chairs and both have tipped over completely as he leaned. The chair does not hold the child securely and our son did not seem comfortable in it at all. It is a good idea with a very poor design.
