Summary: modern that works 2008-01-23
Comment: We bought our nano because we loved the modern look and the flat fold; simple design with a function that helps a lot. We chose the pearl white but i see bloom has now introduced an orange, which would have made our decision harder...
Another great feature that we didnt even realize until we put it together is the at-the-table option. A lot of our friends had talked about this and we swear by it - having baby right at the table and part of the family mealtime is so more inclusive.
We have used the tray occasionally and its fine, if a bit large. Its great to have both options though; they (bloom) should make that clearer as its actually a really good selling point.

Summary: love the nano 2008-01-10
Comment: I cannot help but completely disagree with the other reviewer. We bought the nano at giggle in the chocolate color and it looks so at home in our apartment. we had a peg perego plastic-fantastic for our first child and i can tell you that the base is much wider than nano, besides nano folds completely flat - something that no other highchair i know of can.
We had no trouble with the tray - the 3 sliding positions worked great and the fact that you can throw it in the dishwasher is a real bonus.
anyway, we love the nano and at $180 with such a cool, modern design we definitely would recommend it to anyone!

Summary: Looks good, but totally impractical 2008-01-03
Comment: I bought this chair because I like that it folds down, and because it was attractive. Unfortunately, these are the only 2 good things about it.
When open, the base of the chair is HUGE. Since we bought it for a small kitchen, this is a pain. The base is so much wider than the chair that we always trip over it when it's open.
If you let a speck of food dry on it, good luck getting it out of all the attractive little seams on the arm holders. And good luck cleaning the wet food out of the little seams, too! The fake leather material does spot clean nicely, which is a plus. However, the fabric trim does not. And you can't put it in the washing machine!
It's also very hard to get the tray on and off: it requires at least three hands.
I also agree with the other reviewer that the baby can't really sit up in it.
I gave it two stars because it does look good. I wish more chairs didn't have cartoon characters on them, and I wish more chairs folded up this nicely. However, I feel I wasted a lot of money on this chair and can't recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Do not buy this chair! 2007-12-06
Comment: I hate to do this but.... do not buy this chair! We got it and have been so disappointed in it - it just isn't designed for practical use - the main problem is that the seat back is in no way supportive at all and in fact babies of all ages can only slouch in it. Its not just our son (who has been using it from 5 months to 8 month) but we tested it out on older infants too and got the same problem. I have still been using it whilst waiting for our new chair but our nanny refuses to - she has worked in the industry many years and says she has never seen such a useless chair!
It looks ok in real life - though I thought the white color was more cream than anything, and of course it folds down to very slim - but what is the point in having a chair that encourages bad posture - honestly its very difficult for them to pull them selves forward to the table - Oh and another thing the table slants towards the seat so things don't sit on it straight - why sell something based on being a modern design if it just doesn't work - I can not wait to get anything else but this
