I can see why there are so many good reviews on this high chair. The design looks great, the seat covering is easy to clean, the base folds up, and it can be used as a swing for infants. I felt this was a great purchase too when we first brought it home. 6 months later, my opinion on this chair has changed quite a bit.

The first thing I noticed right out of the box was that the entire thing is made of plastic. The only metal parts on this chair are the screws and a few internal cables and rods. As long as the plastic is sturdy enough, it should be fine however, there are a few stress points on the chair that I feel should have used a different material or at least a stronger piece of plastic. After 6 months of use, I've noticed that the tray is beginning to sag noticeably from its own weight. Any round object will roll to the far end of the tray. For a $300 chair, one would expect the use of better materials.

The base is folded up by lifting a plastic...Read more

I had a very difficult time finding the "perfect" highchair (which I've decided doesn't exist), but this comes pretty close. I had been watching the reviews and reading about this chair long before it came out, and since I didn't think it would be released in time to use with my youngest, I went ahead and bought the Chicco Polly highchair. I hate it. I know most people love it, but I hate it for many reasons - the main one being because the T-bar is attached to the tray. So, we bought the less expensive and more cute-sy Fisher-Price Rainforest highchair. Definite cute, nice toy, but flimsy, cheap, and bad fabric. So, my search continued. I ran across this highchair online and realized that it would, in fact, be released right around when I would need it. I pre-ordered it, and finally received in on Tuesday. Right out of the box, I was impressed! What I like about it: (1) the seat material is very soft, leather-like, and easy to clean, (2) I was able to make all adjustments...Read more

It's unbelievable I'm so disappointed in this high chair and peg perego customer service. My baby is 9 months old and we started using this high chair when he was 4 months old. In 5 months it's recline mechanism broke down. I called peg perego and they told me it's under limited warranty because it hasn't been a year since I purchased. They sent me a chair (not the whole thing, but just the chair part without the fabric and harness), and they charged me $14.99 for shipping. Apparently shipping was not under warranty. The new chair came but it was impossible to take out the right side harness from the old chair. We tried everything. When I called the customer service they told me I should purchase a new harness and pay additional shipping. It's ridiculous. For a high chair this expensive I would expect it to be sturdy and I would expect high end customer service. Especially because the high chair broke down in such a short time.
