We bought two of these highchairs for our twins. We were a little hesitant to purchase these because we had not seen them in person and there were no reviews (in books or online) but we have been very happy with them. The fabric on the chairs make them very easy to clean. We bought the cocoa color and it doesn't stand out / look horrible with the other furniture in our house (some chairs are hideous patterns/colors!) We also really like that the post is part of the seat and not part of the tray. This allows you to remove the tray and sit it on the table (if the post was on the tray you couldn't sit it down). This also keeps a wiggling baby in the seat to give you time to strap them in. The seat also has several reclining positions to allow you to feed the baby a bottle after they're done with solids. The tray has a removable top for easy cleaning. The seat is height adjustable. They were also easy to assemble.

this is a great highchair. i have a six month old boy, who loves it. my one gripe is that under the tray are three 'cut-outs', two on each side for the baby's legs, and one in the center for the buckle... my son's legs don't fit very well in the space given in the cut-outs... it's a minor annoyance. other than that, i have been really impressed and happy with the prima pappa newborn.

This review is from: Peg-Perego 2010 Prima Pappa High Chair, Newborn (Baby Product)
I have used this chair daily for the past year. I have a few big problems with this chair:
1. the seat material while easy to wipe off has millions of divots, nooks, crannies and tiny little spaces for food to get stuck in. The chair itself is built the same way, with millions of tiny little grooves and hollow spaces that seem to serve no purpose other than attracting particles of food. Proper cleaning of this thing requires taking the seat cushion almost completely out and use of TOOTHPICKS to get all of the crud out of all the tiny spaces.
2. After 1 year, with excellent care, the "vinyl" material is completely falling apart at all the seams, exposing the foam and cardboard inside the seat pad. Which leads me to my 3rd problem with this seat:
3. poor customer service. I called peg perego to complain about the disintegrating seat cushion and their response was "it is out of the 90 day warranty, but you are welcome to purchase a replacement seat for $65 including...Read more
