Useless due to short crotch strap,

As the other reviewer said, this seat would be OK if the crotch strap was not as short.
The seat is relatively sturdy for being cheap plastic and the straps hold it securely to the chair. We have bar height chairs and our table has a lip, so this seat was one of the few options that would work for us.
The problem is that you really cannot use the three point harness. You can adjust the two side straps, but the crotch strap that those side straps need to latch to is very short and also, if you pay attention to the picture, right in the middle of the seat. this means you "lose" some of the length of the crotch strap as it goes around your kid's crotch from under to the front. With the side straps at maximum length, I can barely snap the harness close. The buckle of the harness is so low that it presses right on my kid's genitals--and I mean, it PRESSES. there is no wiggle room at all. I'm certain that without the diaper to cushion it a bit, it would be quite painful.

Crotch strap is too short.,

The seat is fine, but the crotch strap is too short. It does not adjust and is way too short for my 17 month old to use. If you want it for an older child and don't plan on using the seat belt, it should work just fine. Great price though!

I wanted something cheap and simple for my son so it would be easy to clean and that is exactly what I got. The reason I am giving it a four star is because
1. It is not quite high enough up for our son but works good enough.
2. It has to be used on a hard surfaced chair. When I tried it on the padded kitchen chair it didn't sit level and seemed to buckle in the middle.
