Product Description
Receive a Free Baby Rail with purchase of this Tripp Trapp! If you?ó?é¼?äóre searching for a high chair with staying power, look no further! The Stokke Tripp Trapp literally grows with your child from infancy to adulthood. Designed with sustainability in mind, the Tripp Trapp can support up to 300 pounds. The key to the Stokke Tripp Trapp?ó?é¼?äós utility is its adjustable seat and footrest. Adults naturally rest their feet on the ground when sitting, but child-sized legs dangle from seats, resulting in a lack of balance and support. The Tripp Trapp?ó?é¼?äós adjustable footrest provides stability and allows children to shift their weight to promote good posture and optimal comfort. To seat teens and adults, simply remove the footrest and adjust the seat for proper positioning. The Stokke Tripp Trapp?ó?é¼?äós unique design places your child directly at table-height, allowing her to participate in mealtime with the rest of your family. Plus, unlike traditional high chairs, the Tripp Trapp?ó?é¼?äós footprint is the same as a typical chair, and the base slides underneath your table, maximizing space and making your dining area safe and clutter-free. With its beautifully modern and minimalist design, the Stokke Tripp Trapp comes in multiple finishes to either complement your dining furniture or make a fun statement. The Tripp Trapp is made out of eco-friendly cultivated beech wood that is durable and easy to clean for years?ó?é¼?Ç¥no, make that decades?ó?é¼?Ç¥of use. Summary: Totally worth it! 2008-07-22
Comment: I didn't buy a Tripp Trapp for my son until he was 20 months old. By then he had outgrown his highchair and was jumping between laps and a too big chair during dinner. He is a bundle of energy and getting him to slow down and eat with some semblance of table manners was a huge challenge. That said though, this chair has been a HUGE help. He seems completely comfortable and less likely to try to climb out because he is right at the table - able to see and participate in the meal like everyone else. It is the perfect height and slides easily right up to the table (even with an almost 30lb toddler sitting on it). I can totally see how it would be a great computer chair for him when he's older. If I have another baby, I think I will try using the tripp trapp right from the start. All in all, I couldn't be happier!

Summary: GREAT SEAT 2008-05-17
Comment: Bought 1 chair to try for my 2.5yo & 5yo they both love it (the little one uses it when an older brother is not there). It is better for ther posture then other seats. I like the fact that there is a foot rest. The small problem is that it is not leveled. (It sort of rocks). I called the company. They recommended to loosen the screws a bit and then tighten them slightly, but when I did that the foot rest started to fall out. So, the chair is ok unless kids want to get on my nerves and start rocking in it. Also I wish I could compleatly remove the harness. My kids do not need it. (I wish I could get an original kinderzeat)

Summary: Awesome chair! 2008-05-09
Comment: I bought this chair for my mom (who keeps my daughter a ton!). It looks GREAT - was easy to put together - and my 15 month old LOVES to crawl up and down. She thinks she is really cool. I will definitely buy one for myself soon.

Summary: Better than any high chair 2007-12-29
Comment: I give it 5 stars because it has passed the lasting baby product test. We are still using this for our 4 1/2 yo. And we bought another one for the 2nd child when he was 6 months (that was a year ago). Some products claim to "transition", but this one really does. It goes from high chair, to booster to regular chair. I think the oldest might outgrow it around 6-8, but for now he's still happy in his chair. We originally bought it because the older one wouldn't sit in his booster seat at 18 months old. This solved that problem. The negatives - the straps are hard to clean. It isn't for babies who can't sit up on their own yet. It is expensive. But - it will last a long time, so I justified the cost as not buying a high chair, and then a booster chair.
